Occhiolino

Occhiolino

Tucked within the lively heart of Toronto, Occhiolino Italian for “wink” offers more than a meal. It extends a gesture, a charm, a small delight. The restaurant invites diners into a space where thoughtful design meets playful spirit, a contemporary nod to Italian tradition with just the right touch of mischief.

Fresh pasta is made daily by hand, crafted with care from quality ingredients. Every dish speaks of familiarity reimagined, delivering comfort and character in equal measure.

The interior is an architectural meditation: sleek and minimal, yet undeniably warm. Clean lines, natural textures, and muted tones create a soothing canvas punctuated by moments of visual surprise vibrant graphics that lend a pulse of youthful energy. Italian disco hums gently in the background, setting a rhythm that is both nostalgic and distinctly now.

At Occhiolino, everything is done with intention from the plate to the playlist. It is a restaurant that winks not just in name, but in spirit.

Occhiolino is situated on a formerly underused parcel, for decades prior it was an auto service garage and yard. Canadian studio Guido Costantino Projects helped the owners realize and transform the space into a warm, clean and inviting restaurant while maintaining and elevating its industrial heritage.
